Sunset road

Sunset road

I had to take an exam after hours tonight. It was due before working hours on Monday. The first thing I had to do was open an Excel file. I can do that almost asleep as I have done it for decades.

However, there was a catch. There was no directory to retrieve the file to open it. This was the first question on a timed test. I looked at all of the frequently asked questions. I was completely perplexed. How could something so simple be so complicated and having me blocked from the onset?

I had to take a break and realized that I had to figure it out. There was the obvious deadline looming. After 10 minutes of praying and hoping, I heard to think backwards. What could I use that was within the question to respond to it? I had to determine the test maker’s logic to figure out my next action step. It was then that I experimented with the graphic and, lo and behold, the graphic was interactive! No where in the instructions was that indicated.

It goes to show that we must let go of old habits and old thinking pathways to open up to new possibilities. This year, 2025, let’s continue to redesign our mind, body, and spirit to manifest what we seek for our highest good.
